Are We Safer?
This question was posed recently on the e-thepeople.com website. (See the original post).
Here is my response:
Are we safer? No.
The priority should be a top notch defense at home and a building of our defenses here.
Yes, I can see that the Middle East would be a place to look for terrorist organizations and thier alcolytes, but rarely is evil so easy to find. How many people who seek to harm this country are already here, in hiding? I do not know, but I believe there is more potential for harm right under our noses than overseas at this time.

If you snooze...
I sincerely hope that the supportes of Howard Dean continue to support the vision that made this man such a factor in how this election will play out. Howard Dean is still my choice, maybe not for President, but for someone who I will always look to first when I want a dose of how it could be.
Howard Dean was not afraid to be himself. He was not worried about speaking out against the politically correct facade that the Bush administration has built. He would not have been afraid to lead, and he would have lead better than most.
Now it is time for us to get behind another. That person is George Bush. I hate to say it, but we all have to get behind this man and push his ass out the White House door. I know we can do it. So pick your candidate wisely and go out and suuport him/her. We have nine months left of this insanity called the Bush family (PLEASE do not elect JEB NEXT!!!!).
Four more years means the realization of a system gone wrong.
Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory
I had a revelation the other day. I was reading my email and came upon a letter from 'a person of faith' that changed my life. It seems this person was appalled by the "Suzette the Pet" site, that I am working on with "the Pet" herself and a few others. "The Pet" is a story about an abused woman and her search for the strength she needs overcome the oppression in her life, free herself of the ties that bind, and take her revenge…all with a twist! (Stay tuned!!)
Well, I knew "The Pet" would not appeal to all, for it is my curse to always be at odds with as many people as possible, but I did not expect the sort of condemnation I received from this 'person'. As I read through the rambling and often incoherent letter, I was told how wrong and sinful my life was for engaging in this type of "lifestyle". I never realized how evil I was, but now I see. I have found God; he was right behind the bathroom trashcan.

I wonder if the other animals believe in a god. I have pondered this question since I was a child and I still do not know. I also wonder if humans are really the most advanced animals on the planet. Who knows, but I offer this observation: Other animals do not treat members of their own with contempt and disrespect and they cannot bring on self-inflicted mass destruction. I support the Presidents stand on banning homosexual marriage. I hope he keeps pushing this issue, proposes a constitutional amendment (which a rational Homo-Sapien would expect to fail, given the fact that the Constitution protects the rights of Americans, and all people, Homo or homo) and helps to destroy any chance he has for re-election. - Is it really so shocking to find that the Administration, with "W" at the reins, would mishandle intelligence?
- Those who find god, cannot find themselves.
- If it ain't broke, break it, then fix it and take the credit for it.

- If you believe Chaos theory, then G.W.B. should be no surprise!

- George W. Bush wants to re-vamp the Head Start Program...and Kobe Bryant is going to become a spokesman for tougher rape laws!

The enigmatic GWB is currently riding a wave of super patriotism
due to the only position the administration has championed: War on Iraq and the War on Terror.
I would have a high approval rating if I were a wartime president. George senior was riding the

Earth does not need a Savior
